MYRTLE EBACH, SC (WMBF) - A paranormal investigation team from Myrtle Beach has become a hit on YouTube and is now sponsoring the First Annual Batty Battleship Halloween Bash at the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington.
More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the event on Oct. 27.
The paranormal investigation team, also known as PIT, investigates and reports on alleged paranormal and crypto zoological activity. In 2009, investigators have investigated historic sites including the Battleship North Carolina and The Hotel Aiken in Aiken, SC.
As popularity grows for the team to check out paranormal activity in the Carolinas, so is its following on the internet. The team's founders and head investigators, Ryan Lick and Stephen Lancaster, air the team's investigators on an internet program called monsterVisionTV.
The internet show has been on the web for nine months and has landed over 300,000 hits and 10,000 fans on YouTube.
